Vandalism in the Village

29th May 2026

There has been an increase in vandalism of property in the village (largely in the area of Cuckamus Green and across from the Masons Arms) this past week with graffiti being seen on bus shelters and bins. This affects all who live in the village and, as you can imagine, it costs residents in the time it takes for reporting and any repairs needed.

The Parish Council has been in touch with the police about this and they ask if anyone has ring doorbell footage and/or CCTV, to please contact them. Details of how to contact them are on our website: https://northleighparishcouncil.gov.uk/amenities/police/

Thank you in advance for your vigilance and information.
