Parish Councillor – Youth‑Focused Projects
North Leigh Parish Council currently has a vacancy for a Parish Councillor, and we are especially keen to welcome someone interested in youth‑related projects within the village.
Current & Upcoming Projects
- A Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) is scheduled for installation around September.
- Once complete, the Council will be exploring ways to make the surrounding land more useful and engaging for young people.
- This work is highlighted in the upcoming Parish Newsletter and will be followed by a village‑wide consultation involving residents, the school, youth groups, and local organisations to ensure all voices are heard.
Why This Matters
The Parish Council recognises the importance of youth provision and continues to prioritise opportunities supported by S106 funding for sport and recreation. A councillor with an interest in this area can play a meaningful role in shaping the future of youth facilities in North Leigh.
