Our new season starts up again on Tuesday 6th September, when Rachel Livingstone will be talking about the history of North Leigh Footpaths bridleways. Whether you are a keen walker or just enjoy an occasional stroll, you will probably have walked along a path that has been trodden through the centuries by local residents. We need to use these paths frequently because if they fall into disuse they will disappear and be swallowed up for other uses like agriculture.
Do come and find out more. We meet at 7.30 pm in North Leigh Memorial Hall, OX29 6SS, members £18 per year, visitors £4 per talk. Further details are available from Diana Power (01993 882301) or Robert Kyte at kyterobert@gmail.com and 01993 880368.
